Service Delivery
High‑quality peer support services, designed and delivered with lived experience at the centre
We deliver peer support services that create connection, build confidence, and improve wellbeing. Our approach is grounded in lived experience, psychological safety, and years of delivering peer‑led programmes across the UK.
Whether you’re commissioning a new service or strengthening an existing one, we provide a complete, end‑to‑end delivery model that is relational, evidence‑informed, and tailored to the needs of your community.
What We Deliver
We design, run, and evaluate peer support services on behalf of NHS teams, local authorities, and VCSE organisations.
Our delivery model ensures that people receive safe, high‑quality, and meaningful support from trained peer workers who understand their experiences.
Our services have provided support for people living with:
- Long Covid
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Long‑term health conditions
- Mental health challenges
- Social isolation and loneliness
Every service is co‑designed with partners and communities to ensure it is accessible, inclusive, and culturally relevant.
Our Approach
Peer support works because it is human.
Our delivery model is built on:
- Lived experience leadership
Peer workers bring empathy, understanding, and credibility that cannot be replicated through traditional services. - Psychological safety
We create environments where people feel heard, respected, and able to share without judgement. - Trauma‑informed practice
Our teams are trained to recognise and respond to trauma with care and sensitivity. - Equity and inclusion
We design services that reduce barriers and reach communities who are often underserved. - Strong supervision and safeguarding
Peer workers are supported through reflective practice, regular supervision, and clear safeguarding pathways.
How Our Service Delivery Model Works
We provide a complete, end‑to‑end delivery model that includes five core components:
- Development
We work with you to design a service that meets the needs of your community and aligns with local priorities.
This includes:
- Co‑designing the service model
- Developing referral pathways
- Creating accessible promotional materials
- Establishing safeguarding and risk processes
- Setting clear outcomes and evaluation measures
Our development phase ensures the service is safe, inclusive, and ready to launch with confidence.
- Recruitment
We recruit peer workers who bring the right blend of lived experience, empathy, and communication skills.
Our recruitment process includes:
- Accessible role descriptions
- Values‑based interviews
- Lived experience‑sensitive onboarding
- DBS checks and safeguarding training
We ensure peer workers feel welcomed, supported, and ready to thrive.
- Training
All peer workers receive high‑quality training tailored to the needs of the service.
Training covers:
- Peer support fundamentals
- Boundaries and safety
- Trauma‑informed practice
- Facilitation skills
- Communication and active listening
- Signposting and local pathways
Our training builds confidence, clarity, and a strong foundation for safe, effective peer support.
- Coordination
We manage the day‑to‑day running of the service so you have a reliable, well‑organised offer.
This includes:
- Scheduling and group coordination
- Ongoing supervision and reflective practice
- Safeguarding oversight
- Data collection and monitoring
- Communication with partners and referrers
Our coordinators ensure the service runs smoothly and that peer workers feel supported.
- Evaluation
We measure impact using both qualitative and quantitative methods, ensuring you have clear evidence of outcomes.
Our evaluations typically show:
- Increased confidence and self‑management
- Reduced isolation and improved wellbeing
- Stronger sense of connection and belonging
- Improved understanding of health conditions
- Positive changes in daily routines and coping strategies
These findings are consistent across our Long Covid and Type 2 Diabetes programmes, where participants reported meaningful improvements in wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life.
We provide:
- Interim reports
- Final evaluation reports
- Recommendations for future development
Our Impact
Our peer support services consistently demonstrate strong outcomes.
Across recent programmes:
- Participants reported feeling less isolated and more connected to others with shared experiences.
- Many described improved confidence, motivation, and ability to manage their health.
- Peer workers reported growth in skills, purpose, and wellbeing through their roles.
- Commissioners highlighted the value, safety, and reliability of our delivery model.
These findings reflect what we see across all our services: peer support changes lives.
