Peer support that changes lives and the systems around them
We help NHS trusts, charities, and VCSEs design, launch, and scale safe peer support services.
Who We Are
The Peer Partnership is a specialist peer‑support organisation working across health, care, and the VCSE sector.
We believe in the power of lived experience, shared humanity, and relationships built on trust.
Our team brings together peer workers, facilitators, trainers, support professionals, and service designers who have spent years supporting people and shaping peer‑led services across the UK.
What We Do
Training
We deliver practical, evidence‑informed training that builds confidence, skills, and psychological safety.
Our workshops support:
- Peer workers and volunteers
- Health and care professionals
- VCSE teams
- Lived experience leaders
Consultancy
We work alongside organisations to design, strengthen, and evaluate peer‑support services. Our approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in co-design and co‑production. We can help you with:
- Service design and improvement
- Workforce development
- Lived experience involvement
- Strategy and culture change
Service Delivery
We work with clinical professionals in a locality to provide peer support services for long-term health conditions. We provide the proposal, plan, service and paperwork, leaving you with a legacy product that you can continue to provide. Explore our previous projects for Long Covid and type 2 Diabetes.
Why Peer Support Matters
Peer support works because it’s human.
It creates space for people to be heard, understood, and supported by someone who has been there too.
Our work is built on:
- Shared power, knowledge and understanding
- Psychological safety
- Boundaries and safeguarding built-in
- Equity and inclusion
- Strengths‑based practice
- Real partnership with communities, professionals and organisations
Our Impact
We’ve supported thousands of people and trained hundreds of practitioners across the UK.
Organisations we’ve worked with tell us that our approach:
- Builds confidence and connection
- Improves service quality
- Strengthens teams
- Creates more equitable, person‑centred support
