What is mentoring?
Mentoring is a mutually beneficial process where you will be matched with someone who has had experience in overcoming the obstacles and barriers of your situation and will use this experience, as well as our professional training to support you to overcome yours, and help you achieve your goals.

Our trained peer mentor volunteers can support you to understand how to live well with type 2 diabetes and support you to reach your goals and to grow your knowledge, confidence and ability to manage living with type 2 diabetes. Our trained peer facilitator volunteers run workshops and support groups to help you live well with Long COVID, explore your goals, and support you in your knowledge, confidence, and ability to manage living with the condition. Our first peer mentor program, which has been successfully running for 6 years will match you with a mentor to help you gain the knowledge, confidence and ability to live well with your HIV diagnosis. Our volunteer mentors are all experienced with living with HIV, and understand how hard it can be. They can support you for up to 6 months to support you through.
